We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join Aldi's team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in managing store operations, ensuring overall performance, developing action plans, and fostering team growth. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for staff.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Communicate and model the core values of the organization to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and recommend adjustments to maintain market position.
  • Provide product feedback and participate in the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and customer service standards.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and merchandise products effectively.
  • Supervise staff operations and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in retail management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and personnel management principles.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
