Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing store operations, managing schedules, and creating action plans to enhance performance. This position requires a hands-on approach to leadership, training, and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the direct leader in improving operating results through action plans.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor competitive environment and recommend adjustments to maintain competitive edge.
  • Participate in the store personnel interviewing process.
  • Ensure inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies are followed.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Prior retail experience preferred.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
