Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in the supervision of store activities, ensuring operational efficiency, developing action plans, and fostering team growth.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 38 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $25.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans for improved operating results.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
- Provide training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
- Participate in the interviewing process and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and maintain cleanliness and stock levels.
- Assist in achieving payroll and total loss budget targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Prior retail experience and management skills preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years retail experience; management experience a plus.
