Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Retail Supervisor at Aldi. In this role, you will play a key part in the management of the store by overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and identifying training opportunities to support team growth and development.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $24.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans for improved store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Ensure adherence to company strategies and values for a cohesive team environment.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback for store improvements.
• Participate in the hiring process and maintain inventory and product quality.
• Supervise team operations and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations and management principles.
• Experience operating cash registers and retail equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
