Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, overseeing store performance, developing action plans, and providing training opportunities to enhance team growth.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing action plans to improve store operations.
• Provide job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Ensure adherence to company strategy and values.
• Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
• Ensure compliance with inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Supervise team operations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Prior management experience preferred.
