Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and leading a team to ensure exceptional customer service and store performance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback to enhance company positioning.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when needed.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring customer service excellence.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Prior retail experience and management skills preferred.
