Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and leading a team to ensure exceptional customer service and store performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback to enhance company positioning.
- Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when needed.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring customer service excellence.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Prior retail experience and management skills preferred.
