Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Associate Buyer to join our National Buying team at ALDI. As an Associate Buyer, you will be responsible for overseeing the product life cycle of a group of products, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring quality and value for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Support the Buying Director in product life cycle management.
- Request, organize, and manage product samples.
- Provide recommendations based on market knowledge.
- Manage multiple projects, prioritize, and coordinate information flow.
- Solve problems with vendors and product issues.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal and external parties.
- Contribute to training and committee participation.
- Ensure adherence to operating procedures and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Business or related field required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
