Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Data Innovation to lead our data and analytics platforms within the Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO) department. In this role, you will oversee the strategic roadmap and objectives for our clinical data platform(s), optimize the platform's usage, manage cross-functional relationships, and drive innovation in clinical trial data visualization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmap for clinical data platforms.
- Optimize Jazz's use of clinical data platforms and implement change management strategies.
- Lead and mentor the Clinical Data Innovation team.
- Drive strong cross-functional relationships at a senior leadership level.
- Serve as a strategic interface with technology vendors.
- Stay updated on technology advancements in clinical trials.
- Manage and support the development of data platforms with external vendors.
- Collaborate with IT partners to ensure deliverables meet user requirements and GxP regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial study design and drug development process.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Background in designing visualization tools for clinical trial data.
- Experience with CDASH standards and clinical trial data collection systems.
- Familiarity with Tableau, AWS, T-SQL, and elluminate is a plus.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years in a clinical trial role with 3 years of management experience.
Compensation
Jazz Pharmaceuticals offers market-competitive compensation packages, including a base pay range of $152,000-$228,000. Additional benefits include annual cash bonus, equity grants, and comprehensive medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401k plan.
