Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Medical Director in Medical Affairs - Oncology to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines for patients with serious diseases. In this role, you will support US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and Biliary tract cancers (BTCs), maintain scientific and medical leadership, and collaborate with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain non-promotional, evidence-based scientific and educational programs for HER2+ target therapy.
  • Support the execution of GEA strategic initiatives and contribute to medical and promotional review.
  • Provide medical insights to inform brand strategy and work with commercial partners on various activities.
  • Collaborate with Patient Advocacy groups and ensure medical accuracy of presentation materials.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/healthcare/academic industry experience.
  • Strong clinical or scientific background in Oncology.
  • Expertise in reviewing and interpreting clinical-medical safety and efficacy trial data.
  • Excellent presentation skills and credibility within the medical community.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
