Central Sterile Reprocessing Educator

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Central Sterile Reprocessing Educator to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of educational programs for Central Sterile Reprocessing staff, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver educational programs for orientation, training, and ongoing monitoring of reprocessing staff.
• Maintain IAHCSMM certification for staff and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and update Practice Documents and Policies for reprocessing methods and workflow processes.
• Stay current on medical reprocessing techniques, equipment, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification (CSPDT or CRCST and Certified Endoscope Reprocessing) required.
• Two to five years of experience in Central Sterile Reprocessing with a technician certification.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, audiovisual equipment setup, and public speaking.
