Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Central Sterile Reprocessing Educator to join the University of Vermont Health Network. As a CSR Educator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing educational programs for our Central Sterile Reprocessing staff. Your role will involve maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring staff certification, and updating reprocessing methods for efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop educational programs for staff training and orientation.
• Maintain and update Practice Documents and Policies for reprocessing methods.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications for staff.
• Monitor reprocessing operations in the Medical Center Clinics.
• Stay current on advancements in medical reprocessing techniques and equipment.
• Deliver presentations and conduct in-service training programs.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification (CSPDT or CRCST and Certified Endoscope Reprocessing) required.
• Experience in Central Sterile Reprocessing with certification as a Certified Instrument Specialist.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding, and customer service skills.
