Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Development Lead in the field of Solid Tumor Oncology for BTC (Biliary Tract Cancer) and GEA (Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma) at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the late-stage development and lifecycle management of a critical Oncology asset, driving the Clinical Development strategy for BTC and GEA. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance the development of the Oncology asset through to commercialization, overseeing clinical trials, ensuring regulatory compliance, and analyzing data to make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for the clinical development of BTC and GEA Oncology program.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive global clinical development plans for Oncology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of clinical development programs.
  • Oversee the execution of clinical trials, monitor study progress, and ensure patient safety.
  • Analyze clinical trial data, interpret results, and make informed decisions regarding trial progression.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for successful outcomes.
  • Manage budget allocation and resource planning for clinical development programs.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the clinical development team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in leading Solid Tumor Oncology asset development successfully.
  • Proven experience in leading high-performing clinical development teams.
  • Excellent executive presence with the ability to articulate complex insights to executive audiences.
  • MD required, board-certified Oncologist preferred.
  • Higher postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Clinical and/or development experience in solid tumor oncology preferred.
