Clinical Development Lead, Solid Tumor Oncology, BTC & GEA

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Clinical Development Lead for Solid Tumor Oncology focusing on BTC and GEA. As part of our global biopharmaceutical company, you will be responsible for leading the late-stage development and life-cycle management of a key Oncology asset, driving the Clinical Development strategy for BTC and GEA and managing a team of Medical Directors and Clinical Scientists.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for clinical development aligning with corporate goals.
• Develop comprehensive global clinical development plans for Oncology in the context of BTC and GEA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of clinical development programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee clinical trials execution.
• Analyze clinical trial data, identify risks, and manage budget and resources efficiently.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the clinical development team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Demonstrable experience in successfully leading Solid Tumor Oncology asset development.
• Proven track record in developing high-performing clinical development teams.
• Executive presence and ability to articulate complex insights confidently to various audiences.

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses

• MD required. Board certified Oncologist preferred.
• Higher postgraduate degree, e.g., PhD preferred.
• Clinical and/or development experience in solid tumor oncology preferred.
