Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. As a Cook, you will work alongside the Chef to prepare meals, manage ingredients, cook dishes, and maintain kitchen cleanliness. You will be responsible for upholding kitchen standards, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring high-quality food and service. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in food preparation and kitchen duties.
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and inventories.
• Ensure compliance with recipes and cooking standards.
• Contribute suggestions for kitchen improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; 3+ years of hotel operations experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to use computer software programs like Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift weight, and perform essential job functions.

You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicating effectively, and handling guest interactions and feedback.
