Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Charter Senior Living. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while ensuring the smooth operation of our Dining Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and resolve any food service issues promptly.
• Prepare and present meals following guidelines from leadership.
• Follow health, safety, and infection control practices.
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
• Assist in dishwashing and support other team members as needed.

Requirements

• Serve Safe Certification if required by state.
• Willingness to work with the elderly.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to follow instructions and attend required training sessions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, stooping, and bending tasks.
• Background check may be required for employment.
