Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Calumet Trace Senior Living. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while ensuring the smooth operation of the Dining Services Department. You will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents through your culinary expertise.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and resolve any food services issues promptly with team members and leaders.
• Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following designated guidelines.
• Adhere to health, safety, and infection control practices.
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
• Assist in serving residents and address any concerns or complaints professionally.

Requirements

• Serve Safe Certification may be required as per state regulations.
• Willingness to work with the elderly population.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to follow instructions and attend required in-services.
• Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, stoop, and bend as needed.
• Passing a background check is a condition of employment.
