Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. Your main focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and working collaboratively with our team.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Report product issues and inventory discrepancies to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
  • Uphold company policies while maintaining document security.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash registers and equipment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work independently and within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, organized, and able to multitask.
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
