Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a valued member of our store, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers throughout their visit
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses
  • Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Capability to operate necessary equipment and maintain cleanliness
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Capacity to work independently and in a team environment
  • Meet requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is beneficial
  • Combination of education and experience is acceptable
