Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our ALDI team. As a crucial part of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues to enhance store performance.
• Conduct store inventory counts as per guidelines and ensure accuracy in inventory management.
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement is 18 years to work at ALDI.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Capable of safely using equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Skilled in maintaining store cleanliness to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
