Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join ALDI's team. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your contribution will enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills (MAP) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other general issues to the management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies while ensuring document and data security.
• Perform additional assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and various store equipment.
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
