Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
  • Comply with company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Work both independently and within a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience preferred.
