Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment to provide exceptional customer service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures for loss prevention
- Follow company policies while upholding data security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Proper use of equipment and performance of cleaning duties
- Interpretation and application of company policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience advantageous
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge
