Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Give feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
  • Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and various store equipment
  • Capable of general cleaning duties and following company procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
  • Familiarity with state and local regulations for handling alcohol is a plus

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is beneficial
