Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with our team, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and support customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and provide feedback on products and inventory.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper use of equipment.
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
