Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team. This full-time role involves merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with colleagues, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the overall store efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and consistently exhibit professionalism.
- Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers with a friendly and helpful approach throughout their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and report to store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements.
- Participate in inventory management procedures and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Follow company guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
- Proficiency in customer service and cash handling.
- Ability to operate store equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adherence to cleanliness standards and company policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales, if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
