Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of the retail store, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, efficient cashiering, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment by stocking merchandise and ensuring neat displays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. mindset and competencies while performing daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
• Perform general cleaning duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
