Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute feedback on products and inventory management
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
- Adhere to company policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold security protocols
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
- Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- A combination of education and experience is considered
