Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of the store, you will be responsible for enhancing the customer shopping experience, maintaining product displays, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store's overall appearance is top-notch.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Assist in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and maintain confidentiality.
- Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Safely handle equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Work in accordance with company standards and policies.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Maintain organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
