Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Your excellent customer service skills will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and maintain store cleanliness
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain security
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt, courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Skilled in operating equipment and general cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
