Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a positive customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses
- Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation skills
- Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
- Capability to execute general cleaning tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Work effectively both independently and in a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
