Job Description
Join ALDI as a Customer Service and Stock Specialist, where your duties will involve merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies while ensuring document and data security
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient cash register operation
- Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Detail-oriented and can multitask effectively
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
