Job Description

We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a key member of the store team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is maintained at its best. Your focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service delivery and collaboration with the Aldi team.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly organize shelves and merchandise displays.
  • Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and uphold document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 to qualify for employment.
  • Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills.
  • Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
  • A combination of education and experience offering equivalent knowledge.
