Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Echocardiographer - Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As part of the Cardiology Services department, you will perform advanced cardiac ultrasonographic procedures using non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves. This position operates under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiology, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiac ultrasonographic procedures.
- Adhere to the scope of practice of Cardiology Services.
- Support the hospital's philosophy, objectives, and goals.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field; RDCS registry preferred.
- BLS Training required.
- Minimum 1-year experience in cardiac ultrasound.
