Electrician

Job Description

Cargill is seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our protein and salt business in Fort Morgan, CO. As part of our global team committed to safe and sustainable practices, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our electrical and instrumentation systems.

Principal Accountabilities

• Perform electrical maintenance tasks involving bending, stooping, lifting, and working with control systems.
• Execute automation solutions, design control systems, and oversee instrumentation functions.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, plant processes, and best practice standards.
• Identify and address areas for improvement and provide necessary training.

Requirements

• Permanent work authorization in the U.S.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and read schematics.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Cargill experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in continuous and batch process control strategies.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI systems, and digital business technologies.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems is beneficial.
