Job Description

We are looking to hire an Executive Director to lead our Late Development Team in the Oncology sector. As the Late Development Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the late product lifecycle strategy, working on pivotal projects with global implications. Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional Late Development Team through the product strategy and execution process.
• Define and implement a visionary approach to product development, aligning with Jazz's mission and values.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize the balance of risk, timelines, and value for patients.
• Provide strategic direction and oversight for regulatory filings and governance approvals.
• Mentor team members, foster teamwork, and ensure performance excellence.
• Manage project budget, timelines, and resource allocation in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Engage in external collaborations and strategic projects to enhance team leadership and visibility.
• Contribute to disease area assessments and portfolio-level initiatives to drive organizational growth.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in global multi-disciplinary drug development within the pharma/biotech industry.
• Proven leadership in late-stage drug development, particularly in Solid Tumor Oncology.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate complex regulatory processes.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with a focus on fostering diversity and inclusion.
• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
