Job Description

We are looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Greenbelt. The ideal candidate will have previous hotel experience and a minimum of 1 year of relevant supervisory experience. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk team, ensuring exceptional guest service, resolving customer issues efficiently, and maintaining hotel operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure outstanding customer care and satisfaction at all times.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while handling guest inquiries, complaints, and reservations.
  • Supervise daily shift processes, train front desk staff, and resolve issues to ensure quality service.
  • Coordinate with other departments like housekeeping and reservations to enhance guest experience.
  • Handle cash transactions, billing instructions, and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
  • Participate in setting strategies for yield management, marketing programs, and rates.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Front Desk Representative or Cashier with supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform various physical tasks.
  • Availability to work evenings, grave shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Performance will be based on quality and quantity of work, attendance, guest relations, compliance with hotel policies, and more.

Prerequisites

Work experience as a Front Desk Representative, Front Desk Cashier, or similar role. Computer knowledge and ethical behavior are essential.
