Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. You will also play a crucial role in identifying training opportunities to enhance the growth of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team to ensure desired results
  • Identify training opportunities for team development
  • Monitor the competitive environment and make necessary adjustments
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed
  • Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in retail
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to operate a cash register and equipment efficiently
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
