Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the Aldi team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, and overseeing operational performance. Your responsibilities will include developing action plans, providing training opportunities to improve team performance, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to boost team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and product quality.
  • Supervise team operations and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in retail management and leadership.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, personnel costs, and expenses.
  • Proficiency in operating equipment and cash register.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
