Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the Aldi team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, and overseeing operational performance. Your responsibilities will include developing action plans, providing training opportunities to improve team performance, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to boost team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and product quality.
- Supervise team operations and escalate issues when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in retail management and leadership.
- Knowledge of budgeting, personnel costs, and expenses.
- Proficiency in operating equipment and cash register.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
