Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, operating a cash register, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will collaborate with team members and management to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and handle transactions.
- Safely operate equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Maintain cleanliness according to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered.
