Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related matters.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and procedures to prevent losses.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
- Ability to provide courteous and efficient customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register accurately.
- Capability to handle equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Experience in performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge.
