Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will uphold our company standards and values.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
- Offer feedback to management on products and store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent discrepancies
- Follow company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Complete any additional tasks as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and company protocols
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
- Compliance with state regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience is acceptable
