Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, operating the cashier, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management.
- Participate in regular store inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and comply with company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and various store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered.
