Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the customer shopping experience by maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and collaborating with team members. Your primary duties will include cashiering, merchandising, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures to safeguard data and documents.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register with accuracy.
- Capable of safely and efficiently using store equipment.
- Ability to adhere to company standards for cleaning and stocking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adept at working independently and in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
- A combination of education and experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge.
