Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capability to maintain cleanliness and follow company policies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol, if applicable

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
