Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, operating the cash register, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your collaboration with the ALDI team and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to the overall success of our store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain company standards.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and within a team effectively.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask professionally.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
