Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer shopping experiences by providing exceptional customer service, merchandising products, operating the cash register, and maintaining store cleanliness. This is a dynamic position that requires teamwork, effective communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding company standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow security and confidentiality protocols
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt, courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register
- Safe operation of store equipment
- General cleaning abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales, if applicable
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
