Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper stocking of shelves.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Ability to provide prompt and friendly customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
• Capacity to perform cleaning tasks per company standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior retail experience (preferred).
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
