Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's overall appearance. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any concerns to management
• Engage in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures to minimize errors
• Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in delivering prompt and courteous customer service
• Capable of operating a cash register accurately
• Skilled in using store equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is desirable. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
