Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Assist customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and security.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safely and properly operate equipment as required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Maintain organization, attention to detail, and follow instructions efficiently.
• Comply with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
