Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's overall appearance. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members will be key to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Communicate clearly with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Contribute to inventory management and uphold cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies, including security and confidentiality measures.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Efficient cash handling skills.
- Operational knowledge of equipment used in the store.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
